Library Board of Trustees

Composed of five Mayoral/City Commission-appointed positions, the Yankton Library Board of Trustees is a volunteer governmental body. Board members must live within the Yankton city limits. One member is a City Commission representative and another is a County Commission representative. Currently, Yankton County maintains a Contract for Library Services, and Board representation is desirable. Board appointments are for a term of three years.

Meetings are held at the Library on the second Wednesday of each month. The public is welcome to attend any/all meetings in person or online at https://meet.goto.com/541968125. Meeting agendas will be posted at least 48 hours before the meeting start time at the library.
