If it is not paid within that timeframe, the fine automatically increases to $100 and you will receive a second notice letter in the mail. Further legal action may also be filed against you to enforce the civil fine.

Parking tickets may be paid by utilizing any of the payment options listed below. Cash, checks, and cards are accepted. Please note: there is a service fee of 2.9% added to card payments.

Note: Owners of vehicles towed for any violation must report to the police department prior to the release of the vehicle.

Hours of operation: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you have any questions regarding your parking ticket, please contact the Yankton Police Department Records Unit at 605-668-5200.
