Alley Closure from 4th St. to 6th St., between Green St. and Maple St.

On April 20th, the alley, from 4th Street to 6th Street, between the blocks of Green Street and Maple Street, will be closed to traffic.   On this date, construction crews will install traffic control signage and begin the necessary work to prepare for the installation of a 6” concrete pavement.  The contractor plans on starting at 4th Street and will progress to the north.

It is anticipated that the work will take 4-6 weeks, to complete.  The alley will remain closed until all concrete has been placed and has had adequate cure time.

The scope of work does not include 5th Street; therefore, traffic will not be affected by the construction.

Signs will be installed to provide drivers advanced notification.  For the safety of everyone, please obey the construction signage.  Do not pass by full street closure barricades.
