Upcoming Street Closures:  Cedar Street, Walnut Street, and Douglas Avenue

Street closures on Cedar Street, Walnut Street, and Douglas Avenue will be necessary due to a watermain boring project under the BNSF Railroad adjacent to 8th Street.  The following street closures are scheduled:

• Cedar Street, south and north of 8th Street, will be closed to traffic on Monday, March 2nd.  
• Walnut Street, south and north of 8th Street, will be closed to traffic on Monday, March 9th.  

Douglas Avenue, from 8th Street to 9th Street, will be closed to traffic on Monday, March 16th. Traffic on 8th Street should not be impacted as 8th Street will remain open to traffic.  The street closures are anticipated to be in place until the middle of April.
