Meridian Bridge - Live Web Cam

The Meridian Bridge, constructed in 1924, changed the regions economy. In 2010 it gains new purpose as it is converted from vehicle traffic to pedestrian use.

The image below is from a live webcam overlooking the repair and conversion of the Meridian Bridge. The image is updated every 30 seconds.

The estimated project cost is currently $4.8 million. Work began on the structure in Spring of 2010 and is scheduled to be completed in the Fall. The project includes structural repairs, spot painting, lighting and railings. The project is expected to extend the lifespan of the bridge by at least another 25 years. This project includes the conversion of the Meridian Bridge to pedestrian use.
