Summit Activities Center

The pool features zero depth entry, waterslide, aquatic activities, fountain, and lap area along with other amenities. The 110 foot waterslide was completed in 2001 adding another feature for users of all ages. The 25 yard pool features a total of 7 lanes allowing for lap swim and various aquatic activities including water basketball and volleyball. Adult lap swim times, various water exercise classes, learn to swim programs (toddler through adult), lifeguard training, water safety instructor classes, and open swim are just a few of the many special programs offered.

The construction of the waterslide (above) and subsequent grand opening (left) offered a great attraction for the young and young at heart. Yankton Mayor Charlie Gross (below) enjoyed the grand opening of the slide.
