Memorial to Veterans
Given to City Dec. 14, 1945 by Carrie E. Fantle as a gift.
City to establish, develop, improve, and maintain a park for public use.
Shall be known as "Yankton Memorial Park".
City to secure plans from a competent and reliable landscaping architect and set up a program for long term improvements.
City will construct a swimming pool and operate and maintain continuously thereafter.
City to provide a tablet bearing names of those citizens of Yankton County who died in WWI and WWII.
City to provide a tablet bearing "This park presented to the City and County of Yankton by Mr. and Mrs. William J. Fantle in the year 1945.
