The Community Development Department serves as the point of contact for development related issues including long range city planning, zoning, subdivision planning, building permits and plumbing permits. The Department is also responsible for certain code enforcement activities. Other duties include providing the maintenance for City facilities such as City Hall, the Senior Citizen’s Center and Community Library.
The department employs five persons: the Community Development Director, Building Official, Building Inspector, Building Maintenance / Custodial Supervisor and a Custodian. The Building Services Office is located on the first floor of City Hall and can be reached at 668-5251. The Community Development Director’s Office is on the second floor and he can be reached at 668-5252.
