The Board of City Commissioners meet the second and fourth Mondays of each month. The meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and are held in the City of Yankton Community Room, Regional Technical Education Center (RTEC), 1200 West 21st Street.

Meetings are rebroadcast on the Yankton Public Education Government (PEG) Channel on the following Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The PEG channel is Channel 3 on Midcontinent and 45 on Knology.
