Yankton’s Summit Activity Center to host Pacesetter South Dakota Youth Basketball State Tournament

April 7-8

Yankton’s Summit Activity Center will host the 2018 Pacesetter South Dakota Youth Basketball State Tournament on Saturday-Sunday, April 7-8. Girls in grades 5, 7 and 9, and boys in grades 4 and 6 will play Saturday, April 7.  Girls in grades 4, 6, and 8, and boys in grades 5 and 9 will play Sunday, April 8.  Boys in grades 7 and 8 will play Saturday, March 10, at Sioux Falls Christian High School.

The champion, and possibly the runner-up, in the South Dakota state tournament will be invited to play in the Pacesetter Five-State Championships at the Target Center in Minneapolis along with teams from Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin.  This five-state “hometown team” play off system is sponsored by the Minnesota Lynx and Minnesota Timberwolves and coordinated by Pacesetter Sports.
